Earn by Volunteering at Office Depot!Sample Sale Needs Non-Profit Volunteers - June 24 and 25This is a "CALL TO ACTION" to benefit the Office Depot Foundation and YOU. Office Depot is in need of volunteers from non-profit organizations for The Annual Office Depot Foundation Sample Sale which will take place on Thursday, June 24th and Friday, June 25th, 2010, located at their headquarters, 6600 North Military Trail, Boca Raton, Florida. Various samples from Office Depot vendors have been donated to the Office Depot Foundation to be sold at our Sample Sale (not open to the public).
Volunteering will benefit your organization. Your organization will receive a check for $300 and you will receive $300 in supplies/merchandise if you provide volunteers to cover at least 5 shift periods, ie., 20 volunteer hours. There will be no computers sold at this Sample Sale. Everyone will need to be prepared to take their items with them. In order to complete the payment process, we need to receive a copy of your 501c3 IRS Determination Letter. Please send this to Lynn.trauman@officedepot.com or fax to 561-438-6218. Your donation check will be mailed within two (2) weeks of the event. Bottled water, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks will be provided for our volunteers. Shift Information: Friday, June 25, 2010 The activities that you will be helping us with will include setting up, pricing items, cashiering, and clean-up. Office Depot Corporate Dress Code: Please remember that we are in a corporate office so we need to dress appropriately. Wear comfortable shoes but no tennis shoes or flip flops or similar shoes (with strap between the toes). Jeans will be allowed as long as they are presentable. No crop pants, shorts, leggings, sweat pants, halter tops, tube tops, tank tops, torn clothing, see-through clothing, short tops and low rise hip huggers.
