Golden Bell: Celebrating 22 Years of Giving 

Golden Bell is pleased to announce that another $55,000 has been granted to 12 local public schools and a local scholarship fund this year! Quality education is a top priority of the Boca Chamber and for the past 22 years, Golden Bell, has been there to provide financial assistance to the local public schools of Boca Raton in grades K-12. With this newest round of funding, the Golden Bell Education Foundation has now granted more than $1 Million since its inception in 1991!

What is the Golden Bell Education Foundation?

The Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, Inc., known as Golden Bell, is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that was created by the Chamber's Board of Directors as a separate operating entity for the sole purpose of supporting the Boca Raton Public School System and administrating educational programs that promote business skills. Since its inception in 1991, Golden Bell has granted more than $1 Million to Boca Raton's K-12 public schools. After 22 years of giving, the Golden Bell Board of Directors believes that, now more than ever, a quality education is the cornerstone of a successful business community.

Golden Bell's ongoing vision is to create:
Supplemental Funding to enhance and broaden the scope of available programs and scholarships in Boca Raton’s K-12 schools.
Opportunities for Innovative Educational Programs that are designed to enhance academic achievement for our children.
Opportunities for Academic Excellence to ensure that our children are fully supported in their pursuit of academic achievement.
Opportunities for Business Education to ensure students are supported in their efforts as they enter the business world.

How are Golden Bell Education Funds Used?

We invite all Boca Raton Public Schools to submit applications for a Golden Bell Grant. Funds are awarded to deserving and innovative programs. The Golden Bell Foundation’s Board of Directors convenes annually to review grant applications and select recipients. Recipients are notified during the summer and receive their grants at the Chamber’s September Membership Breakfast. In addition, the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce and Golden Bell recognize all sponsors at this September Breakfast.
